• Compiling
  
  • GiBUU can be built with one of the following compilers:
    • ​Intel Fortran Compiler (version 9.1 or higher), due to a compiler problem GiBUU is currently not running properly with version 11.0
    • ​GCC/gfortran (version 4.3 or higher)
    • ​g95
    • ​Absoft Version 10.0
    • ​Sun Studio Fortran Compiler sunf95
      
    • ​Lahey lfc
  • The Build process is steared via GNU make.
    
  • Automated Makefile dependencies are generated using ​makedepf90 (not necessary anymore since GiBUU 1.1)

• Documentation
  ​ROBODoc is generating an automatic ​code documentation.

• Version Control
  Our code is based upon a ​Subversion version control system. The code can therefore be restored to any time point of its development phase.
  GUI-Tools: ​eSvn, ​tortoise SVN.
